Wellbeing Assistant Vacancy

Community First is looking for a compassionate and patient new team member who has an excellent telephone manner and a genuine enthusiasm to help people improve their quality of life. 


The main role of the Wellbeing Assistant is to direct and signpost people to services that support their wellbeing in the voluntary sector making use of a comprehensive local directory of services. The Wellbeing Assistant will be working alongside NHS professionals to provide a non-clinical service.  They will answer telephone and email enquiries to ensure that service users are signposted or directed to the most appropriate services to support their wellbeing or to a mental health service.  They will not be required to carry out any sort of mental health assessment.

Work Environment:

The job holder will currently be working from home as part of a busy team also currently based at home. As lockdown lifts the location of the team may change to the outskirts of Worcester City or possibly to our office base in Malvern, but home working may still be possible.

Full and part time applications will be considered, some out of hours working may be required.

Secondment opportunities will be considered.

Duration of the Role:

The Wellbeing Assistant role is a permanent post.  As a co-produced service it

may be transferred to another partner on the same terms and conditions.
