Joint Health and Well-being Stategy Consultation

It is a statutory requirement for Health and Well-being Boards to produce a Joint Health and Well-being Strategy. The strategy sets a small number of high level priorities and outcomes which will be used as a basis to shape commissioning across the health and care system and to develop more detailed actions plans to improve Worcestershire's Health and Well-being.

The current Strategy runs from 2013-16 and a draft strategy to build on and replace the current strategy has been developed following feedback from a well-attended consultation event held in June 2015. The Health and Well-being Board wants to build stakeholder involvement and is therefore releasing the draft strategy for public consultation. The draft strategy and online consultation are available here.  Responses are welcomed from partners, organisations, community members and local residents. The deadline for responses to the consultation is Friday 4th December 2015. If you have any queries on the consultation or would like to receive it in a different format please contact: Liz Howell, tel: 01905 765637, email:  A final draft of the Strategy will include responses to the consultation and will be considered by the Health and Well-being Board in early 2016.

Due to an overwhelming response a second stakeholder event has been organised to allow partners, organisations, community members and local residents to feed into the strategy. This will be held at Worcestershire County Council's offices from 3-5pm on the afternoon of the 10th November. An event is already being held in the morning of that day and is fully booked. If you would like to attend this afternoon event please respond to Liz Howell on tel: 01905 765637, email: Please note that registration for this event is essential and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
