This event will have a focus on the:

Health and well-being Strategy 2016-2021: Developing Action Plans

Background

The new Health and Well-being Strategy for 2016 – 2021 outlines three priority areas of focus over the next five years these are;

• Good mental health and well-being throughout life
• Being active at every age
• Reducing harm from alcohol at all ages

At this event we will be developing action plans to support work in these areas throughout the county. Through your expertise and opinions we can start to shape these plans to enable joined up action to tackle these issues that will benefit from multi-agency working.

The event aims to:
• Give an overview of current policy and practice in the three priority areas
• Identify key aims and objectives for the Action Plans
• Provide partners with the opportunity to share experiences on how to tackle these priority areas
• Achieve ownership of the priority areas involving the widest range of partners and professionals

Please register your interest, please contact: Lyn Mills – lmills@worcestershire.gov.uk

You will receive confirmation of your place and receive a delegate pack within one week of the event.
