Worcestershire Integrated Carers Hub

Worcestershire Association of Carers (WAC) is delighted to announce that following a recent tender exercise by Worcestershire County Council it has been successful in its bid to deliver the Worcestershire’s Integrated Carers Hub. The Hub, jointly funded by Worcestershire County Council and the 3 Clinical Commissioning Groups, will coordinate support for the 63,000 unpaid adult carers in Worcestershire by providing a single point of access for information, advice, support and training.

Worcestershire Integrated Carers Hub, launching on 1st July 2016, will build on the services currently delivered by Worcestershire Association of Carers, and will work with carers and partners in the development of new services to both support and empower carers. Reaching out across the county through community settings new services will provide increased access and local options.

Mel Smith has been appointed as Worcestershire Integrated Carers Hub Manager. If you would like to get involved in shaping services going forward or would just like more information about the Hub please feel free to contact Mel. msmith@carersworcs.org.uk Tel 01905 751346

Worcestershire Association of Carers is  really looking forward to working with their partners on this new project and will be sending  further information bulletins as the Hub develops.
