VITAL Herefordshire LEADER Funding Programme
The VITAL Herefordshire LEADER programme has an amount of funding to allocate this financial year 2011/12.- Short projects to start from September 2011 and must be finished/spent by end of January 2012
- Must take place in or benefit people in rural Herefordshire (excluding Hereford City)
- Maximum of £5,000 LEADER funding up to 70% of total costs
- 30% match funding required
- Projects must be community-led or have clear evidence of community support or involvement
Themes include:
- Training projects – a priority for funding. Requires 30% match funding – must be cash and non-public (ie private/voluntary/charitable trust – not Lottery funds)
- Basic Services for the Economy and Rural Population
- Village Renewal and Development
- Conservation and Upgrading of the Rural Heritage
These last 3 themes can be matched with public/private/voluntary cash or volunteer time.
Deadline for submission of applications – 15th August 2011 – 4.30pm
