VCS STP Follow Up Note on THE ROLE OF THE VCS engagement 17.2.17

Taken from Carole Cumino's email to attendees and those who were not able to attend on the day:

Thank you to those of you who attended the VCS STP event on 17th February – this information has also been copied to those who were unable to attend on the day, but still want to be involved in the work.

Please download a copy of the note recently circulated to the STP Partnership Board.

Discussion was rather rushed as it came at the end of the meeting, but we were able to agree that we’d present the ‘VCS Offer’ to the STP Partnership Board on 26th April.  More detailed feedback will be circulated shortly.

To help  prepare for the next meeting, we have another VCS STP Reference Group meeting arranged for 30th March (in Malvern Council Chamber, 9.45am for 10am)..

I’m still trying to get hold of the latest version of the Terms of Reference for the STP Prevention Board and I’ll circulate these as soon as I have them.

As far as VCS involvement in the new work streams is concerned, we still have some work to do to make this happen properly – this doesn’t only affect the VCS representatives – Healthwatch also have concerns about patient and public involvement which were raised at the Board meeting last week.
