The Changing Landscape

Worcestershire has a huge number of active voluntary and community organisations – from tiny community run groups to large ‘not-for-profit’ organisations delivering key services to local people. They are all part of what’s known as the Third Sector.

This is a time of change and challenges for most of us so how can we be sure that the ‘voice’ of these local organisations will be heard by those who make decisions in the County? How can we find out who we need to talk to?

This half day conference is an opportunity to find out first hand about the key changes taking place. Speakers include Neil McInroy from the Centre for Local Economic Studies, and representatives from the new Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, the Health and Wellbeing Board and the Worcestershire Partnership, who will be helping us to understand the changes and answering your questions.

This will be an informative, lively and enjoyable conference, so why not come along and find out more?

Places are free but numbers are limited so please book your place by contacting Karen Humphries on karenh@comfirst.org.uk or telephone 01684 312745.

At Sixways, Wednesday September 14th 2011 9.30 – 1pm

Sponsored by RAWM and Worcestershire County Council
