Talkgroups

In October 2007 Community First launched a new web forum aimed at community and voluntary organisations. It’s designed to get committees who run community projects talking to each other, sharing information and solving problems and so it has been given the appropriate name of Talkgroups. There is so much experience and expertise within management committees in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and Talkgroups will provide a fast and effective way to pool that wisdom, test drive ideas and find shared solutions.


Community First‘s development staff will be monitoring the site on a daily basis to answer queries and to ensure that all information circulated is accurate and up to date. We will also be offering a two hour ‘live surgery’ where one of our team of staff will be online at a fixed time to answer queries there and then.


The forum is really user friendly and simple to use. Next time you have an enquiry about the running of your community facility, whether it’s advice about funding opportunities, management, running successful meeting or an enquiry about your buildings maintenance, why not post it on the forum as well as emailing the enquiry to us? Maybe someone else has faced issues similar to yours and has found just the solution you’re looking for.
