Richard Harling to depart

Some of you may be aware that Richard Harling, Director of Adult Services and Health at Worcestershire County Council, has been appointed to a new post in Staffordshire (please see his statement below). I am sure you will want to join with us in thanking him for his contribution as Director over the last three years and to wish him every success in his new role. Richard will be leaving the Council at the end of February/early March.’

Dear all

I will be soon be moving on to a new job, the post of Director of Health and Care at Staffordshire County Council.

I am really excited by the opportunity of working in a bigger and more complex county, and I am very much looking forward to a new challenge.

At the same time I will be sad to leave Worcestershire. I have very much enjoyed working with VCS colleagues during the last three years, and with some of you for much longer. I have never failed to be impressed by your commitment and enthusiasm  and I think Worcestershire can be proud of its vibrant voluntary and community sector.

I am sure that we will keep in touch and I look forward to hearing about your future accomplishments.

Very best wishes

Richard Harling
