Nick Comley, Social Enterprise
Nick Comley has been appointed as Organisation Development Coach at Community First. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Advantage West Midlands Nick is able to provide specialist business support to prospective social enterprises and in creating new jobs in existing social enterprises.With additional contracts to provide business support to the third sector across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire Nick is excited by the prospects for a ‘new way of doing business.’ “Social Enterprise is trading for people and planet, ethical corporate responsibility at a time of recession and financial crisis gives Social Enterprise a genuine opportunity to show it’s unique ability to deliver significant social return on investment through profitable trading.”
Nick has over 20 years of both commercial and third sector management experience gained with Majestic Wine PLC, Connexions STW, The Alliance and Herefordshire Mind. He has achieved the Chartered Management Institute Executive Diploma Level 7 award and is about to undertake his MBA. Nick is also working towards his SFEDI accreditation in business advice. A member of 4SE Business Advisory group at the Social Enterprise Centre of Expertise Nick has a wealth of experience, skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for social enterprise and the necessary coaching skills to enable social entrepreneurs to realise their own ideas.
