New survey to help find Worcestershire carers

Worcestershire Association of Carers is gathering information to help identify and support  more adult unpaid carers throughout Worcestershire. The charity is seeking support from county VCS health and wellbeing organisations to help spread this survey amongst service users and stakeholders.

Are you a Carer?

A carer is someone who provides support to family or a friend who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems.  Many carers find it difficult to see their caring role as separate from the relationship they have with the person they care for.  It is estimated that 61% of carers don’t recognise themselves as one in their first year of caring.

Worcestershire Association of Carers is a registered charity that was founded in 1997. We act as an independent source of information, advice and support for the 63,000 unpaid adult carers in Worcestershire. See more at:

We would like to reach more carers and raise awareness of the support available to them.  And we would appreciate no more than 5 minutes of your time to complete this brief survey by clicking on the following link:

This survey relates to adult carers only, the adult might look after an adult or child/young person with a disability or additional need.

Your survey response is anonymous unless you provide us with your contact details.  If you do so your responses are confidential and any help you may currently get will not be affected.

The deadline for this survey is 30th September, thank you for helping us to find more carers by responding.
