John Taylor

As a trained social worker and ex- Government Health and Social care Regulator John has extensive experience in the care sector.

John holds a masters degree in Health and Social care which focussed on effective consultation and participation in service delivery by Health and Social care service users and much of John’s work has been involved in listening to and working alongside individuals and organisations within the community to help them ‘find a voice’, exercise choices and experience an improved quality of life.

His main role at Community First has been to work with organisations to help them deliver more effective frontline services and to connect in a meaningful way with their beneficiaries, many of whom are the more vulnerable members of society; working particularly with older peoples services.

He is currently involved in supporting care farming, developing Quality Standards for the sector and working with service users and providers to ensure that needs are met with dignity and empathy.

His work at Community First also involves him working strategically to liaise with the many organisations involved in providing care in Worcestershire, giving him an overview and understanding of the current health and care services available within communities.
