Community First is committed to building the capacity of the voluntary and community sector and funding is an important part of this.
Our Funding Advisory Service can help organisations and groups identify potential sources of funding.
We also administer a number of small grants schemes and our current grants programmes are:
Grassroots Grant Programme
New grant opportunity for voluntary and community groups in Worcestershire only. Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available to small grass root community and voluntary groups in Worcestershire either as a one off payment or as a grant spread over a maximum of the three year period (2008 – 2011) but not exceeding £5,000 in total.
Elmley Small Grants Arts Fund
Up to £1,000 for small, local projects to create new arts opportunities, reach new audiences and enable people from all walks of life to take part in arts and cultural activities. Available in both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Funded by the Elmley Foundation. Total annual pot £30,000.
