Global slowdown: Local actions

Worcestershire County Council is hosting a special event for the county's businesses and organisations to work with the county and district councils to identify actions to alleviate the effects of the global economic downturn on the local economy.  Small and medium enterprises, large employers, voluntary and community sector groups and council contractors and suppliers are invited to attend the event, to be held on Monday 8th December 2008 from 4:30pm - 7pm in the Council Chamber at County Hall.  For more information, including how to book a place, see http://worcestershire.whub.org.uk/home/wccindex/wcc-comms/wcc-communications-globalslowdown08.htm
