Gateway to Care - How we can help

Care organisations that receive funding from Adult and Community Services are now subject to a quality assurance system called The National Minimum Standards (NMS) which cover all aspects of their service and involves external inspection by The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).

Through the Gateway to Care programme, Community First can support Voluntary Sector regulated services in meeting the inspection requirements and therefore the continuing development of core services.

Worcestershire organisations can benefit from free support including

  • Consultancy visits to agree organisational development needs
  • Agreeing a prioritised action plan
  • NEW - Grant to meet and identify need. Download the application form from the bottom of this page
  • Identifying local providers to meet development needs
  • Brokerage to negotiate with local providers
  • Preparation for inspection
  • On-going management support
  • Workshops / mentoring / coaching
